The facts: Bag-in-Box
Bag-in-Box has been around since 1955 thanks to its inventor, the American William R. Scholle.
A bag-in-box packaging consists of a bag inside, for example polyethylene, and an outer outer outer packaging, for example made of corrugated cardboard.
Fill the bag-in-box bag with a liquid and seal it.
If you want to open the packaging for the first time, simply separate a pre-punched window in the outer carton.
The liquid can be easily removed from the tap without air entering the inner bag. This is hygienic, protects against oxidation and germs.
- Compared to glass bottles, bag-in-box packaging is lighter, shatterproof, can be stored and stacked in a space-saving manner.
Bag-in-Box in excellent quality
Bags in a box – sounds simple? It is, because the application is very simple. Pour in liquid, store worry-free and tap if necessary. However, the production of these smart packaging requires a lot of know-how.
For our bag-in-box solutions, we combine a B and E shaft. This 2-wave packaging is wet resistant and very stable. So you can easily stack up to five boxes on a pallet and the contents are also optimally protected against light irradiation. Our bag-in-box packaging is suitable for storing and transporting sweet must, apple juice, wine and other liquid products such as salad dressing.
The "Vitop" closure completes our high-quality bags. It makes it easy for you to take milk, cream, juices or cooking oils. "Vitop" taps prevent air from entering the packaging during removal. As a result, the liquid can be kept for up to eight weeks after opening. Of course, our bag-in-box solutions comply with all regulations for direct contact with food.
